Hi, Y'all! My name is Deanna Caroon, and I am the owner of Deanna's Design's and Art. I am a Texas native, and recently moved back after over 20 years away! I am disabled and have several rare illnesses. I have also been a military spouse for over 20 years until my husband retired from the USAF about a year and a half ago. I have also been married to my husband for over 20 years. We have lived and traveled abroad, and all over the country with our two teenagers Taylor and Jackson and chihuahua in tow. How in the world did that happen so fast, they are practically grown now? When my husband retired from the military he began helping to care for me as I have multiple chronic conditions. Seriously, who could ask for a better husband!!? I loved traveling, going to the beach, vacationing, and working at my fast-paced job in finance before I became disabled. I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Eagles Syndrome, Psuedo-Tumor Ceribr (IIH), Spontaneous CSF leaks ... and the list goes on. Diagnosing me was not easy, as these are all extremely rare conditions. I consider myself so very lucky though as I have such a supportive family. I have found a love for art and painting as a form of therapy, and love sharing my art with others. I will also have a blog to share my journey with all of you! We are very unique as I help to care for my husband as well as he is a wounded warrior. Our road ahead ahead may not be easy but it is our road and we make the very best of it. My husband is definitely my right hand and I am his left. I feel thankful everyday for my husband , my beautiful children, and my canvases to paint on, life is good. Welcome to our life.
